ABOUT US
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."
1 Peter 4:10
Make Me Usable was founded on the simple call: to be ambassadors of Christ by lifting one another up through praise, worship and prayer.
We gather to connect with God and one another.
OUR TEAM

Susan Pell
Hi! I’m Susan, the founder of Make Me Usable Ministry. I am a Jesus-loving, people-loving, funny, active Nana who believes with all my heart that everyone is usable—you just have to be available. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be part of a ministry. I loved the idea of encouraging others, bringing people together, and helping people discover the purpose and value God placed inside them. While attending a Bible study, I shared that desire, and the leader gave me some simple but life-changing advice:
“Just do it. Don’t wait on anybody.” Those words stayed with me. So, in October 2022, we stepped out in faith and hosted our very first ladies’ event. That was the beginning of Make Me Usable Ministry. My heart has always been to encourage people and help them see the best in themselves—even when they may not be able to see it on their own. I want people to know that they are valuable, they have purpose, and God can use their lives in amazing ways. Most importantly, I want you to know this: Jesus loves you. No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done, there is absolutely nothing you have done—or could ever do—that can keep Jesus from loving you. My hope is that through this ministry, you will be encouraged, loved, and reminded that you have a purpose.
Because the truth is:
Everyone is usable. You just have to be available.
Welcome to Make Me Usable.

Sherrie Foret
Sherrie Foret serves as the worship leader for Make Me Useable and as the ministry’s vice president, offering both spiritual leadership and heartfelt encouragement. She is also the founder of Selah Travel, where she helps people create meaningful journeys that inspire faith, connection, adventure, and lasting memories. Sherrie believes deeply in the importance of pausing — taking time to breathe, reflect, and listen for God’s voice — whether through travel or in the quiet moments of everyday life.
Her greatest passion is worship. Sherrie longs to help people encounter God’s presence in a real and transformative way. Having experienced the healing and restoring love of Jesus, she carries a strong desire to point others toward hope, freedom, and their true identity in Christ. Her worship leadership is marked by authenticity, tenderness, and a deep sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
